Pave (Purpose, Audience, Voice and Effect) is at the heart of all good reading and writing, and something that should be at the front of your mind every time you analyse a text, or are preparing to write something. The more thought that goes into the writing or analysis of a text, the more accurate and appropriate to an audience your work is likely to be.
